Our Boat Trip Times.
The following table of times is our standard boat trips from Elgol to Loch Coruisk running from beginning of April to end of October. Please see further down the page for details of the various other options which are available all year round.
Standard Boat Trips to Loch Coruisk
(Please Note: Actual departure times are 15 minutes later but it is advisable that you are with us for the boarding time so that you have time to get parked and pick up your ticket.)

Due to the popularity of Misty Isle Boat Trips advance booking is highly recommended for all trips to avoid disappointment. Bespoke charters are available from sunrise to sunset. All boat trips are, of course, weather permitting. Please note we do not sail on Sundays.

|Long Trip (Departing on 1 trip and returning on any later trip)||Sail to visit Loch Coruisk at 11am and return on the mid-afternoon trip giving you about 4hrs ashore to explore Loch Coruisk and the Cuillins. (trip lasts approx. 6hrs).||Adult: £26.00

As well as our standard trips, please note that private charters of any length are available (whether to visit Loch Coruisk or simply to explore the nearby waters of the south of the Isle of Skye) are available on request. Contact us for details.
All our prices are fully inclusive of hot drinks and shortbread which is served on your return journey (and also on your outward journey if you are on either a one way, half day or all day trip!)
Boat Trips on the Heather Grace and Eilean a Cheo.
With our boats, Heather Grace and Eilean a Cheo we can now offer a huge variety of Boat Trips around the waters of the south of the Isle of Skye.
On most days Heather Grace will sail from Elgol to Loch Coruisk. However, on some days – when there is demand for it – we will be offering a wide range of boat trips leaving at various times including fishing trips, the main catches here being mackerel and pollock.
Eilean a Cheo will be running wildlife watching boat trips to see the puffins on the Isle of Canna; Trips to see the red deer and Kinloch Castle on the Isle of Rum (Rhum); Pods of dolphins (common dolphins and bottle nosed dolphins) are regularly seen on both these trips. Short boat trips to see the seal colony near Loch Coruisk; Boat trips to see Gavin Maxwell’s old basking shark fishing station on the Isle of Soay; Short trips around the Elgol coast to see the famous Bonnie Prince Charlie’s cave.
