We lucked out and had a gorgeous sunny day! Once at the loch you are on your own. We hiked around for some amazing views and photos. We brought some snacks and drinks and had a small picnic before hiking back. You have about 90minutes here and on this gorgeous day we could have used more. It was breathtaking and no photos can really do it justice. If you have time while in the area, please make this one of your stops. Misty Isle boat was a wonderful last day for us.

Lovely... read more classic boat and trip across Loch Scavaig to see the shortest river in Scotland amist stunning scenery, only accessible otherwise by a very long walk into the Cullins. Would highly recommend, and the seafood shack back ashore with excellent salads and lobster filled rolls!

  Leave yourself plenty time to get there. The road becomes excitingly single about five miles from Elgol, so take your time. The Misty Isles guides were helpful and pleasant and... read more the journey there and back to Loch ... can't pronounce or spell ... was good fun. Saw amazing amount of Seals and possibly two sea Eagles. Clearly at different times of the year you'd see other sea creatures. Dogs are permitted .... children too. Landing at the base of the Cuillins was breathtaking. Watch your time once you are there. You'd not want to be left behind in error.

  Great family day out on the Misty Isle to Loch Coruisk. Stunning views on the way out and at the loch. Sandy and Coral were great hosts, informative and entertaining... read more on the history of the area and it's wildlife. We had enough time at the other side to swim in the loch and take a wander up the hill for some cracking views over the loch. Refreshments on the way back and kids even got to steer the boat. The skipper's son Seumas also seen us off and greeted us on our return making a point of speaking to the kids. I would highly recommend this trip.

We were doubtful that we wouldn’t freeze but the skipper said we’d have a good day and he was right. As we approached the jetty for Loch Coruisk the wind dropped, sun came out and the water was like glass. Our party of 5, which included our wee dog, had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Stunning scenery. We wished we’d came prepared for a swim. One of our party had a mild physical disability but managed fine with an extra hand on rougher terrain and climbing the stairs. Remember your sun cream, sometimes you need it in Skye!

  Fantastic experience, sandy and Seamus were fantastic, very interesting stories about the local culture, the loch was beautiful and picturesque.
